Our Windows

Digging Deeper, Growing Stronger, Reaching Further

The Luther Rose Window

Designed by Dr. Martin Luther, the rose has a black cross in a red heart to remind us that we are saved by faith in the crucified Christ. The white rose signifies that faith gives us joy, comfort, and peace. The blue sky symbolizes faith as the beginning of endless heavenly joy.

Worship

Psalm 108:1-4 “My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and make melody. Awake, my soul! Awake, O harp and lyre! I will awake the dawn. I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples, and I will sing praises to you among the nations. For your steadfast love is higher than the heavens, and your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.”

For information about worship at Ascension, see our “Worship” tab.

Fellowship

Acts 2:46b – 47“They broke bread at home and ate their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having the goodwill of all the people. And day by day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved.”

Please see the “Calendar” and “Upcoming Events” tabs for fellowship opportunities.

Learning

Colossians 2:6-8

“As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving. See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the universe, and not according to Christ.”

See our "Programming" tab for study opportunities.
